1 - I was up at the Devils Playground(Pikes Peak) in '94 when this video was shot and again this year on July 21st.

Now that most of the circuit is paved, the 10 minute barrier is all but gone with the Suzuki Grand Vitara in at 10:01 this year.

I would like to see Merecedes Benz dustoff that Leman sports car that flipped in 1999 (CLR?), put an extra wing on the front of it, put the hottest hillclimb shoe you can find in it, and come up here and whip the Suzuki's tail and beat 10 minutes SOLIDLY. Suzuki said they're coming back next year to go sub 10 minutes, somebody needs to challenge the japanese rally driver with a hot sportscar entry running the unlimited class. I think a prototype sportscar is the ticket now with the asphalt surface. (Comment this)
