Yesterday we went off to catch some footage from Gumballers on their way towards Amsterdam checkpoint. Altough it was hard to find them, mainley due to Police-Traps and other things they had to deal with, we did shot some nice things. Enjoy these pics, later I'll post some more taken on the highway!! The cars are now on there way to Dover to take the train towards Calais. By now the first Gumballers problably parked their cars into the train to hit the road to reach the first checkpoint. Hopefully everybody manages getting there without problems as it wouldn't be the first time incidents happend on the first leg of the Rally. Remember on previous Rallies cars were getting confiscated in France and accidents like the Dodge Viper couldn't be avoided...

Gumball 3000 Rally!!!! Get ready for an amazing day and week as the Rally is only a couple of hours away and cars are getting ready to be displayed at the Pall Mall. Later on the day they will set off to the first checkpoint in Amsterdam...

Here we go, as said before Gumballers are arriving in London to park their cars in "The famous gumball garage". The garage, filled up by exclusive sports cars worth lots of millions all together brings you a nice scenery.

Recently the Belgian Police got a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Porsche Turbo, probably this is ment to be as a promotion stunt. Otherwise, Belgian people might have to be carefull knowing that there is a possibility to get a Gallardo or Porsche Turbo behind them. Belgians probably don't have forgotten the Porsche Turbo's Police forces used many years ago.

Gumball's 2007 rally is about the set off and Gumball HQ has given out one of the last "news update's" as the rally will drop his flag this sunday at Pall Mall. Get ready for a week full of things to happen as mosts of us will follow the rally through various sources on the net or going to checkpoints to cheer them off! Everybody's exited to catch to first pictures and video's from the adventures Gumballers will have during this coming week, including me!

Only 2 days to go, but the first cars are already ariving in the famous "Gumball garage" So watch out...

Speculations are going that there might come a "mini R8" with a mid-mounted 265Hp 2.0 TFSI priced significantly lower than rival sports cars such as a Porsche Cayman. However these are only speculations as Audi has given no official or unofficial confirmation to build an Audi R4.

Then again, Audi does have plans to debut with several surpises over the next few years. And an Audi R4 wouldn't be that bad if you'll ask me.

According to a source the R4 will go on sale in late 2009 and it'll be based on a total new platform using the transmission, steering and brakes coming from Audi 's existing parts bin. Also, the source suggest that there will be a top RS version with a 2.5 litre-in-line five turbocharged producing 354Hp.
