Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet By 9ff: 912 hp !!

The 997 Turbo Cabriolet was only officially launched by Porsche this month and tuning specialist 9ff already released a high performance tuning pack wich delivers 912hp. 9ff's engineers used the same kit that was used on the Carrera GT and 911 Coupe. Their 650hp strong version of the Turbo managed to reach a maximum speed of 350km/u and it is believed that this more powerful car will pass the amazingly speed of 400km/u.

9ff is also working on it's custom mid-engined GT9 to challenge the Bugatti Veyron's record of worlds fastest production car. The GT9 should be capable reaching 409km/u, wich is 2km/u faster than the Veyron's reocord of 407.5km/u and should be ready for the high speed comp at Nardo later this year.

Ferrari F430 Challenge

GTspirit has just came out with an article of Ferrari's F430 Challenge, the race version of the roadlegal Challenge Stradale. Below you can find some specs on the car.

Ferrari took everything out the car that could give too much weight, the windows are made of lexan-plastic, the door is made out of carbon fiber and all the leather and airbags are removed. Also, the speedometer is just a simple digital display. Further only the old start, light and ventilation buttons can still be found back.

The Challenge still has the 4.3 V8 engine producing 490bhp but dropped his weight with 225kg. With all this power you do need good breakes, therefore ferrari created their new CCM (Composite-Carbon-Ceramique) system wich will bring you to reduced breaking time of 3%.

Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Superveloce

"The LP640 is wild enough" Stephan Winkelmann (Lamborghini's president) said. Well it seems he changed is mind- altough no one at Lamborghini officialy confirmed its existence, this will going to be the LP640 Superveloce and not the Murcielago Superleggera as said before.

Back in the seventies the extraordinairy and glorious Muria P400 got this name, later also seen on the Diablo (Superveloce is Italian for High Speed). Just like the Gallardo Superleggera the SV will be more lighter with a weight loss of 100Kg, boosting its power its power-to-weight ratio to 409bhp per tonne. Click "Read more"
