What will the new RS6 bring us? While the S6 has a detuned version of the Lamborghini V10, the RS6 will go for the full power of it. Two ultra -responsive turbos will be added, altough no specific specs are out yet, this will more likely result in getting around 530bhp. Going from 0 - 100 km/h (62mph) in just about 4,5 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155mph) it will be a genuine BMW M6 rival.Expect to see the finished product at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and coming to your local dealer next year.

This video shows an RS4 and WRX cruising trough the mountains of Brazil, looks like they'r having some nice roads there, maybe a tip for the road rally organizers! Anyway this vid reminds me of an older racing game but i can't remember the name of it.
As for the moment the Audi R8 is only available in the 4.2 litre V8 wich can also be found in the RS4. But according to a source Audi has a diesel-powered R8 in the works.
Wow, an exotic sportscar with a diesel motor? Why not, if there's anyone that can do it, it's definitely Audi , because Audi is one of the masters in diesel technology. On the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans they demonstrated that once again with it's R10 Tdi race car winning it's first races.
Also confirmed for 2009 is the R8 Targa, and a few weeks ago carmagazine caught a R8 V10 on the Nurburgring doing testlaps.

Speculations are going that there might come a "mini R8" with a mid-mounted 265Hp 2.0 TFSI priced significantly lower than rival sports cars such as a Porsche Cayman. However these are only speculations as Audi has given no official or unofficial confirmation to build an Audi R4.
Then again, Audi does have plans to debut with several surpises over the next few years. And an Audi R4 wouldn't be that bad if you'll ask me.
According to a source the R4 will go on sale in late 2009 and it'll be based on a total new platform using the transmission, steering and brakes coming from Audi 's existing parts bin. Also, the source suggest that there will be a top RS version with a 2.5 litre-in-line five turbocharged producing 354Hp.

This promo video shows the new Audi S5, the sporty version of the coupé. The Combination of a V8-FSI-Technology and the permanent 4-wheel drive quattro stirs up the 354 horsepower wich accelerates the S5 from 0-62 mph in just around the 5 seconds. Look for the 2008 Audi S5 in dealerships this fall right alongside the standard A5.
