TechArt GTstreet

TechArt has released some new shots of its 997 Turbo-based GTstreet. This beautiful green color is destigned to set a new trend. I absolutely love the green-black combination of the 997 GT3 RS's...

A few specs on this amazing car: under the bonnet we can find a modified 3.6L twin-turbocharged flat six producing 630 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque. All this power could be achieved by adding two turbochargers, a special air-box with sportsfilter, an exhaustsystem with sportscat and high performance intercoolers. I Like It!: Mustang Obsidian Coupé R

I usually don't like American muscle cars, but some of them I do like. Now this is one of them, this is one mean machine. It's a modified Mustang Obsidian Coupé R, but as you would think, why one has to tune old automobile glories? Well just take a look at all those details, by respecting the base and its spirit but by using current technical solutions they created a unique piece of masterwork.

A 6.4-litre V8 with 2 compressors is fitted which produces 900 hp, I guess this is what they call an American muscle car! Click " Read More" for the full gallery Via: caradisiac

Edo Lamborghini Murcielago LP640

Again some great work from German tuning house Edo Competition.

A few days ago we reported about Edo's Shark 997 which I found a great overall looking car! The same goes for this Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, which (for the color scheme) reminds me a little bit on the Gallardo Superleggera.

Due to modifications to the engine's ECU, special high-flow air filters, high-performance catalytic converters, new exhaust butterfly valve control (remote-controlled on request), a high-flow muffler and stainless steel exhaust tips its horsepower has been increased up to 663, the 6.5-litre V12 gives you 675 Nm of torque, accelerating in 3.8 secs from 0-100 km/h with a top speed of 348 km/h.

Furthermore only some minor details have been added, a specially designed rear wing with an adjustable lip, and a custom paintjob for the wheels. Inside you can find a carbon fiber interior and a handy rear view camera. Good enough for you...?

Porsche 997 Turbo By Edo Competition

Another day, another modified Porsche Turbo...Edo Shark 997!

Yesterday we reported about 9ff's high-performance Porsche Turbo, today we have the Turbo by Edo Competition. Although this Porsche 997 Shark comes 3th on a list of five tuners who prepared the Turbo, it doesn't disappoint me because it "only" has 550 hp. If it's not capable to arrive first, at least it sure does have the looks in my eyes.

Under the hood we can find a flat-six 3.6-litre developing 550 hp at 6000 rpm and 790 Nm of torque between 2.100 rpm and 4.900 rpm. It's sprint from 0-100 km/h goes in 3,44 seconds, max speed= 338 km/h! For a price of € 200.000 it can be yours... Click "Read More" for a picture gallery and some specs

9ff's 997 Porsche Turbo Cabriolet

Unlike we reported before, 9ff's new Porsche Turbo Cabriolet won't get 912hp, but a more suitable 780hp, which is still quite impressive though. It also makes more sense, the 912hp is reserved for the coupé version which develops 910Nm of torque. Thanks to a special designed dual-clutch gearbox and its enormous loads of power it just takes 3.1 seconds to go from zero to hundred km/h achieving its top speed at 392 km/h. For the cabrio version with 780hp this will be an unbelievable fast 382km/h top speed. Imagine driving at this high velocity whilest the wind blowing through you hair. Click "Read More" for a picture gallery. Please not that the car pictured actually has a modified Carrera 4 body to show how the Turbo Convertible will look like when it becomes available in September.

Porsche 9ff GT9: Veyron killer!

This is the fastets Porsche ever, the GT9 builded by 9ff is ready to break the 400 km/h. If it passes this amazingly high speed than it's already sold to some wealthy Arab.

In April 2005, 9ff started changing the 911 GT3, result: only 2 original Porsche parts remained, the hood and the headlights. The wheel base was extended by 30 centimeters, the roof lowered by twelve centimeters and the tail goes upward instead of downward.

The GT9 should at least reach 407 km/h but should be capable reaching 409 km/h. Later this year there will be a high speed competition at Nardo where it will challenge the Bugatti Veyron's record. Pricetag of this super fast supercar? 476,000 euro... Pictures can be found here
